Green Factory expands into fresh, packaged baby leaves market in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE region)

We are proud to open a new chapter in the history of Green Holding Group – in August 2025, Green Factory Italia was launched!

This new company specializes in the production of fresh, unwashed packaged baby leaves – products that will soon enrich store shelves across Central and Eastern Europe, surprising consumers with their diversity and unique taste experiences.

Green Factory Italia is the result of a strategic partnership with Noschese Farming Group, a long- -standing supplier of Green Factory and one of the leaders of modern agriculture in Europe. The synergy of innovative cultivation methods and proven expertise in delivering top-quality baby leaves opens new opportunities for the development of this category.

Already this autumn, baby leaves will begin growing in state-of-the-art tunnels built specifically for this investment by Noschese. At the same time, construction and installation works are underway at the new facility in Battipaglia, near Naples – the very heart of Green Factory Italia.

The joint venture, fully aligned with the DNA of Green Holding Group, is committed to complete control of the process – from cultivation to the final packaged product. The combination of advanced tunnel farming with a modern packing facility will ensure the freshness, sustainability, and taste that today’s demanding consumers expect.

Test production is scheduled for December 2025, with full-scale distribution planned for January 2026. Green Factory Italia products will reach customers across the Central and Eastern European region through the Group’s subsidiaries.

Green Factory Italia will be supplying companies from Green Factory Group in two streams:

Stream I: – baby leaves raw material,

Stream II: – packed unwashed baby leaves.

It will also enable big logistics optimization as Battipaglia will become a hub for raw material coming from south of Italy, including Green Crops Italia farms in Crotone zone.

Paulo Aleixo is the Managing Director of Green Factory Italia. Paulo has 25 years of experience in management positions in the lettuce industry. He has been working for the Green Factory Group since 2020, both in Poland and, more recently, in Hungary, and his many years of experience will be helpful in effective cooperation with Green Factory plants in the CEE region.
