Budapest, February 23, 2026 – Green Factory group has made a strategic decision to support more efficient regional operations. According to the company, its production facility in Tök will cease operations in March, 2026. Its capacity will be replaced by the group’s former Eisberg units in Gyál – Hungary, and Legnica – Poland, ensuring uninterrupted service to partners.

Efficiency and sustainable growth
The Tök manufacturing site joined the Green Factory group in 2021 by acquisition. The
plant’s closure was preceded by a thorough decision-making process. The decision was
made in agreement with the Green Factory’s group-level owners and management to
transfer resources to the Gyál site, which shows significant growth potential.

Affected Employees
The company is paying special attention to the 41 people directly affected by the change and
all employees contracted through subcontractors. All colleagues have been informed, and
some employees have been offered the opportunity to continue work in Gyál. The
management is committed to providing all possible support to ensure a smooth transition and
to assist with individual career paths.

Focus on capacity expansion in Gyál
Green Factory’s strategic goal is to focus on the new production unit being built in Gyál. This
investment, supported by European Union funding, is a milestone in the company’s history,
as it will enable local operations to double production capacity, increase efficiency through
modern, automated technology, and create a stable, long-term foundation for delivering high-
quality products and services to its partners.

After considering key business factors, including operating costs and investment
requirements, the international and domestic management agreed to shut down the plant.
Our goal is to channel the freed-up human and financial resources into our forward-looking
development in Gyáladded Gyula Pál, managing director of Eisberg Hungary Kft. and
Green Factory Hungary Kft.

Green Factory is confident that this step will contribute to more efficient operations in the long term and further strengthen the company’s market leadership position in the fresh, packaged salad mixes and salad bowls segment.
